GO TO NEWSFormed in 1891, Verwood Cricket Club is a thriving community club on the edge of the New Forest, playing at Potterne Park and Alderholt Recreation Ground.
As we begin an exciting new chapter with a new clubhouse lease and improved facilities, our ambition is simple: to build the best community cricket club in the region - for players, families, and partners alike.
Youth Cricket: one of our fastest-growing sections, with 12 youth teams for boys and girls aged 4 to 19, including our ECB All Stars & Dynamos programme for our youngest players.
Women's & Girls' Cricket: a rapidly growing pathway from Under 9 Girls through to Under 15 Girls and our Women's Softball teams, with dedicated training and an expanding fixture list every season.
Senior Cricket: 4 adult Saturday teams competing in the Hampshire and Dorset Cricket Leagues, plus midweek cricket in the Wimborne Evening League.
